The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Gao Sheng Group jointly established the "Hong Kong Polytechnic University-Gao Sheng Group Metaverse+ Joint Laboratory" last year. Gao Sheng Group will donate 10 million yuan to PolyU in the next five years to support the development and research projects of the joint laboratory, as well as the research direction of the joint laboratory, including the promotion of Metaverse technology in enterprise collaboration, industrial applications, environmental protection and smart cities, energy management, and sustainable supply chain systems.
Last year, CoinDesk released the 2022 ranking of the best universities for blockchain, with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University ranking first. In addition, the ranking of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University also includes the "Metaverse Technology" major, and is committed to the study of science.
