St. Louis Fed President Brad resigns and will work at Purdue University in the United States.

According to The Wall Street Journal, James Bullard has resigned as the president of the St. Louis Fed, effective Thursday, and will officially step down from the Fed on August 14. Starting from August 15, Bullard will work at Purdue University as the inaugural dean of the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business.

The St. Louis Fed announced that Catherine O'Neill Phillips, the first vice president of the regional Fed, will temporarily assume Bullard's role as president, effective Thursday. This means that Phillips will attend the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) monetary policy meeting at the end of this month in place of Bullard.
